The lights out performance was good enough to earn Pickett 'Knockout of the Night' honours and the $40,000 check that comes along with it. Dan Hardy out-pointed Amir Sadollah on his home soil at UFC on in Nottingham, England on Saturday night. "The Outlaw" was nearly without a UFC job, when he was on a four fight losing streak, however he has since turned it around and won his last two fights. All it took was one trademark left hook to announce the return of The Outlaw Dan Hardy as he knocked out Duane Ludwig in stunning fashion at UFC 146 on Saturday. Hardy had been going through hell as a fighter, losing four on the bounce to have many armchair pundits questioning his place in the UFC. Che Mills loses out at UFC 145

The co-main event of UFC 145 featured a fight in the welterweight division. Rory MacDonald, who has been anointed the future of the welterweight division by his training partner, Georges St-Pierre, battled Che Mills. MacDonald is just 22 and was 3-1 in the UFC coming into the fight, suffering his lone defeat against Carlos Condit in June 2010. Britain's Che Mills will step into the limelight this weekend as he co-main events the UFC 145 Atlanta card. This really is a win-win for Mills who can build upon his impressive showing in Birmingham last time out against Rory MacDonald. MacDonald is being heralded as the next big thing and so if Mills is able to test him for prolonged periods, even in defeat it could bolster his career substantially. Jimmy Wallhead ignited the crowd at Nottingham's Capital FM Arena on Saturday at BAMMA8 with a stunning knockout victory. The Team RoughHouse veteran felled experienced American fighter Joey Villasenior early in round one of their welterweight bout before swarming on him with ground and pound to claim a 48-second stoppage.
